How MedCars verification works
Plain answers: what MedCars checks, what agencies tell us, what a Vehicle Passport is, what you should confirm yourself, and what on this site is only sample data.
What MedCars verifies
Verification is a set of dated, append-only events, each with evidence: a physical inspection of a vehicle, a check of registration/insurance/technical-inspection documents, an agency identity check, a driver licence check. A “Verified” label is computed from those events by a published rule set and expires when the evidence does. Agencies cannot verify their own vehicles.
What an agency provides
Agencies provide their own vehicles, prices, availability, locations and rental terms. These are declarations by the agency. MedCars shows them as such and does not describe them as verified unless a verification event backs them.
What a Vehicle Passport represents
A passport is a read-only summary of what is recorded about one car: specifications, odometer, maintenance, completed rentals, verification events and history. Anything not recorded says “Not recorded” — never a default or a guess.

A review can only be written by the customer of a completed reservation, once per reservation. Reviews are moderated, and hiding a review never deletes it. Reviews shown today are sample content.
What you should confirm yourself
- The rental terms, deposit and cancellation conditions with the agency before you pay.
- Your driving licence and age requirements.
- Insurance cover and what it excludes.
- The car’s condition at pickup — photograph it and note damage on the handover sheet.
What is demo or sample data today
This site currently runs on a static sample provider. Cars, agencies, ratings, review texts, passports, chauffeur partners and the traveler profile are illustrative. They are labelled “Sample” where they appear and are not live listings or verified records.
Claims we do not make until they are real
These statements stay off the site until the capability exists and an owner confirms it.
